Haris Avdić

Haris Avdić was born in Sarajevo. He became politically engaged at the age of 18, focusing on issues of civic participation, local democracy, and community development. As a student of political science at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Sarajevo, he has combined academic knowledge with practical activism.

Haris has contributed to numerous socially significant projects aimed at strengthening civic awareness and dialogue. He has been an active participant in round tables, public discussions, and community forums, where he promoted inclusive decision-making and youth engagement in political processes.

He is also one of the co-founders of the NovaRiječ portal, where he serves as editor, dedicating his work to fostering critical debate, free expression, and the promotion of progressive ideas in society.
